The CARES Act gave the Federal Reserve the power to purchase bonds in corporations which they otherwise never had. This means, the Fed can loan money to corporations and hand them unlimited supplies of money and inflate the currency and keep companies afloat, even ones that the majority of people do not like nor want to exist anymore. It opened up funds for the State Lockdowns for the Governors to tap into and it created the mass inflation we saw in years to come after COVID.
