In the Age of Internet Censorship, we document all of the Lies, Crimes, and Disinformation told by Donald Trump and his Administration before Big Tech scrubs it all from their platforms.
Ronald Reagan from April 25, 1987, where he delivered a complete and total rebuke against Tariffs
For those who try to rewrite history about Ronald Reagan's stance on Tariffs and that includes Donald Trump, this is the speech Ronald Reagan gave on Tariffs in 1987. Does this sound like a man who supports Tariffs? He says Tariffs only work for a Short Period of Time, but in the end, they result in Trade Tariff Retaliations and the prices go up and up and up and people stop buying and markets collapse. Everything he lays out in this speech flies in the face of Trumpism. He learned from his top economist, Milton Friedman. The Canadian Government did NOT take Reagan out of context, they summarized his speech and it was said in context. If Trump wants to debate Reagan on this issue, he can do so at Ronald Reagan's grave site, but don't insult the intelligence of those who know better.
