This was the time when Trump had slapped a 10% tariff on Canada because they played an ad of Ronald Reagan speaking against Protectionism and Tariffs back in the 1980s, which resulted in Trump throwing a Temper Tantrum and slapping a 10% tariff on the country. This act now begs the question to the public, is Trump slapping tariffs out of spite for these countries or is he doing it for the American Economy as he has been claiming? He has been running with the claim that it will bring back more jobs and manufacturing to the United States, but as you can see, he just slapped on 10% over an ad, not over anything economical or related to economics. Will the Supreme Court or Congress step in now at this point and begin to question the motives here?
